Time for some tasty, pretty, and enjoyable jamz. If you didn't know already, Grown ups is definitely all those things. They're indie, they're catchy, they're awesome! The vocals are a little harsher, and it kind of reminds me of Snowing. Their newest release, the Hand Holder EP is a tad different from their other stuff. The vocals aren't as harsh, and the guitarists change things up by adding more bluesy riffs with a dash of surf-rock. I think it really works, while adding more of a mature sound. After hearing Hand Holder it bums me out that these guys are done. If they cranked out another LP I think it would show how far Grown Ups can go musically. Below is their discography. Snag it.
