Pyka

Pyka hails from Middletown, Connecticut and plays a non-stop mess of powerviolence and sludgy grindcore.  These guys construct layers of noisy distorted riffs, blistering caveman drums and vicious shrieks.  Between the face-melting blasts of insanity they deliver some awesomely crunchy punk grooves that don't last long enough.  All of their material so far is insanely rowdy.  Snag now and dig.

Straight, No Chaser

Straight, No Chaser was an intense screamo outfit from Rochester, New York.  This band played a relentlessly chaotic brand of emotional hardcore and added elements of hardcore and math rock to the mix.  Their blend of technical musicianship is drenched in talent and shows throughout all of their recorded material.  The link below is the band's entire discography that includes their self titled full length, a couple of EP's and some unreleased material.  I rediscovered this material from a CD I had burnt years ago after downloading these links from Chug Life.  Sadly, I don't have track titles or a breakdown of releases, but you can peep HERE for more information on the band.  Snag this shit now!  It's insanely good!!!  Dig.

Misled Youth

Washington D.C.'s Misled Youth is an aural assault of raging hardcore that's most definitely on point.  These ferocious tracks are fast and in your face with blazing guitar riffs, frantic bass parts, pummeling drum work and manically spit vocals.  This stuff hits hard and rips to the absolute max.  Snag their two releases below and dig.

Dirty Work

Picture of Dirty Work
Here some raging thrash punk from Kansas City's Dirty Work.  This is some degenerate, grime-coated sloppy hardcore punk sounds that're ugly and obnoxiously awesome.  These rippers are fast-paced, down your throat and loaded with non-stop energy.  Dirty Work had me hooked from the first listen.  Snag and dig.

SNØB

Vancouver's SNØB plays some dirty 80's-inspired hardcore punk that's mean, frantic and loaded with aggression.  Throaty, pissed off vocals top off these thumping, thrash filled tracks of spastic drums, blaring riffs and some of the best bass parts I've heard in a punk band.  After dropping one of the best demos ever and an insanely rowdy 7", these guys released some more ragers on a new compilation.  I simply can't deny this band's instant greatness.  Snag everything below and look for even more material in the near future!  Dig.

Hassler

Hassler is a ripping hardcore band from Toronto.  These guys construct thrashy, meaty and barbaric hardcore punk with an incredible overall sound.  Throaty howls are shouted over thick, hard-hitting drums, distortion-coated punk riffs and muddled bass lines.  These guys are just plain mean and will hopefully continue to release more quality jams as good as their current discography already is.  Snag everything below and be amazed.  Dig!

Ancestors

Ancestors is a noisy, distorted mess of blackened punk featuring Mark McCoy.  Their sound is full of buzzing riffs, muddled noise, frantic drums and disgustingly obnoxious vocals.  This stuff is driving, weird, raging and original.  Their latest 7" is fucking amazing and full of surprising vibes.  Snag the band's discography below and get gross.  Dig.

Darkbuster

Now for a guilty pleasure from Boston's infamous drunk punks, Darkbuster.  This is booze-fueled punk rock that's gritty and catchy-as-hell with added sprinklings of street punk and ska.  These bar room anthems are fun and straight to the point with sing-along chants galore.  22 Songs That You'll Never Want To Hear Again is essential for any fan of the genre, so i would start there as a new listener of the band.  Snag, chug, dig.

Children Of God

Children Of God is a hellishly good  metal punk band. They mix elements of punk, thrash, grind, and black metal to make walls of extreme noise. This is really reminiscent of Backstabbers Inc. I highly recommend snagging up Coup De Grace 7" but you should just get it all.  These guys rule!
Dig!
